The Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) is excited to announce the upcoming launch of Omni, an academic search tool that connects the libraries of 14 of Ontario’s universities. Omni goes live on December 10th, 2019.

Due to planned maintenance of University of Toronto server networks, all Scholars Portal services will be temporarily unavailable for about 10 minutes beginning at 8:00 am on Friday, August 23.
 
The OCUL website and SPOTdocs wiki will also be unavailable during this time.

OCUL/COPPUL Digital Preservation Management Workshop in Toronto, November 2019 - Registration Now Open

The Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) and the Council of Prairie and Pacific University Libraries (COPPUL) are pleased to announce that registration is open for the Toronto edition of the Digital Preservation Management Workshop series. The workshop will be held November 12-15, 2019, at Ryerson University.
 

Scholars Portal Launches Dataverse Blog

In fall 2018, OCUL’s Scholars Portal service and the University of Toronto Libraries received funding from the CANARIE RDM grant program for the development project “Dataverse for the Canadian Research Community.” The aim of the project, which is also supported by CARL and Portage, is to enhance Dataverse to address the needs of a broad range of researchers in Canada through improved scalability, integration with Canadian cloud storage and authentication providers, and better support for data curation.
