The Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) invites nominations for participation on several subcommittees that together play a vital role in advancing shared aims for collaborative governance and service excellence across Ontario’s academic libraries.
By serving, subcommittee members contribute directly to consortial priorities that strengthen collective capacity and enhance library services and resources provided to campus communities.
Subcommittee Opportunities
Six subcommittees are seeking new members. Opportunities are open to any OCUL member library worker with relevant expertise, knowledge, and a commitment to collaboration, communication, and innovation.
- Collection Assessment and Evaluation Subcommittee – 1 member role
- Collaborative Futures Accessibility Subcommittee – 1-4 member roles
- Collaborative Futures Communications Subcommittee – 1-4 member roles
- Collaborative Futures Shared Resources Subcommittee – 1-3 member roles
- Collaborative Futures Strategic Projects Subcommittee – 1 member role
- Collaborative Futures Systems and Analytics Subcommittee – 1-2 member roles
All subcommittee roles have an anticipated start date of June 1, 2026.
New subcommittee members will be invited to join an orientation session to learn more about OCUL and consortial governance processes.

Nominations can be submitted via online form.

Individuals may self-nominate or be nominated by someone else from their OCUL member library.
The nomination period closes March 27, 2026.
