The Council of Prarie and Pacific University Libraries (COPPUL) and the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) have joined forces in a multi-consortial offering of Archive-It, the web archiving service of the Internet Archive. Working together, COPPUL and OCUL are considering ways that they can significantly expand web archiving in Canada.


Nominations are now open for the OCUL Outstanding Contribution Award.

May 03 2017 - The Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) and the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) announced today the signing of an agreement that will see both organizations work together to identify and advance regional and national issues relating to the data discovery, management and digital preservation needs of the Canadian research community.

OCUL is pleased to announce that the Ontario Library Research Cloud (OLRC) will open its doors to subscribers as of May 1, 2017.  

Scholars Portal and Lakehead University Library are pleased to announce their collaboration on the development of Permafrost, a new preservation service to help protect the unique digital collections held by Ontario’s university libraries and archives. 

University Archives’ entire collection of Canadian national polling data will be shared via the Ontario Council of University Libraries’ Scholars Portal online platforms
