OCUL Accessibility Community Virtual Huddle: WCAG 2.0 and web accessibility standards refresh

Published on 2019-03-27

Thursday, April 4, 11am-12pm

The OCUL Accessibility Community invites you to join their first Virtual Huddle.

This Virtual Huddle is the first of a series of informal meetings designed to facilitate information sharing and support a robust community of practice around accessibility issues. This event is an opportunity to join a video call to share information, ask questions or just be privy to an informal discussion on one focus issue related to accessibility.

Led by Scholars Portal Accessibility Librarian, Katya Pereyaslavska, this Virtual Huddle will feature Mark Weiler (Wilfrid Laurier University) as a guest speaker sharing his current work in web accessibility in preparation for the new version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Who should attend
This session is open to members of the Accessibility Community and the wider OCUL Community and is intended for anyone with an interest in web accessibility or standards. The discussion will be of particular interest to those working in digital environments, including procurement staff and managers.
