Scholars Portal Day is fast approaching, and registration is now open.

Scholars Portal Day 2014: Building Our Communities

December 3rd
Snell Hall, St. James Cathedral, Toronto
#spday14

This year's theme is "Building our Communities." How do we build library communities that are accessible, inclusive, and
sustainable? How can we best reach out to, support, and enhance our research and learning communities? In what ways
have we already prepared, and what are the opportunities that lie ahead? This year, we want to focus on the best ways to
share strategies, workloads, and resources.

Join us for a day of knowledge sharing, discussion and community building with your OCUL colleagues. Discover ways you
can contribute to the conversation at your library, in OCUL and beyond. We're delighted to have Mita Williams from the
University of Windsor as our keynote, and a number of OCUL Communities members on our speakers list as well.

Who should attend?

Any staff at OCUL member libraries are invited to attend. We're always delighted to see familiar faces, but we'd like to
especially invite new staff, and staff who have not had a lot of exposure to the workings of OCUL and Scholars Portal.

How do I register?

Initial registration is limited to ten attendees per institution. Please note that not all schools are handling registration the
same way so please contact your Director before registering. If you are at a school that normally sends more than 10
people to Scholars Portal Day, please make sure you have received permission locally before registering. Scholars Portal
Day will also be streamed live and recorded for those who are unable to attend in person.

Registrations close, November 21, 2014.

If you would like to be added to the wait list email jacqueline@scholarsportal.info.
