Collaborative Futures, a key initiative of the Ontario Council of University Libraries, is pleased to announce the event agenda for its half-day Mini Conference taking place Tuesday, July 8, 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Designed to foster innovation and collaboration among library professionals, this year’s online Mini Conference promises a dynamic program emphasizing learned practices and new processes for shared library technologies. Speakers will join the event from across several Ontario academic libraries.

Agenda highlights include:

  • Workflows and tools developed for a large-scale remediation project targeting legacy records.
  • Problem-solving an interlibrary loan process using a new API and updated request form.
  • How libraries can identify commonly reported search tool issues and use collected data to inform technology changes.
  • Enhanced workflow efficiencies to proactively manage print and e-resource claims.
  • Deduplication of print and electronic records to make search results easier for users to navigate.

The 2025 Collaborative Futures Mini Conference is open to any Ontario post-secondary library worker. There is no cost to attend.
