The Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) invites applications for 2025 Visiting Researchers.
The Visiting Researcher Program offers in-kind support for library workforce members from an OCUL member institution as they pursue a research project while on sabbatical from their home institution.
Program details
- Duration: Typically one-year positions, requiring approximately 20 per cent of the individual's research leave time; positions can start anytime in 2025.
- Responsibilities: Conduct research aligned with OCUL's strategic priorities and/or that benefits academic library services or librarianship; share research findings with the OCUL membership.
- Support: OCUL provides in-kind contributions, including staff time, technology access, and networking opportunities.
To apply, candidates must submit a copy of their CV with an introductory letter outlining the research project and its potential impact, plus a letter of support from their library director.
Applications are due by November 15, 2024.
