The Accessible Content ePortal (ACE) is a consortial service supported by Scholars Portal and made available collaboratively across Ontario university and college libraries. Curated by students and researchers with print disabilities for research and study purposes, this collection just exceeded 17,000 titles. Growing in response to user demand, this collection has evolved as a unique repository of accessible academic resources.

ACE is designed to make library collections accessible in several formats, operating in collaboration with Internet Archive Canada as a digitization partner. This service has revolutionized accommodation practices across participating institutions by facilitating unmediated access and serendipitous discovery of academic resources which have traditionally been offered in print. ACE has received national and international attention as a platform which supports its users within frameworks borrowed from human rights legislation, with a focus on the inherent dignity and individual autonomy of library users.
