Join the Accessible Content E-Portal (ACE) project team and the project's partner institutions on October 29 at 11am for a round-table discussion to reflect on the pilot year of the project.

Started in November 2012, the ACE Pilot Project aims to enhance the ability of university libraries throughout Ontario to provide barrier-free access to textual resources for students and faculty with various reading and print disabilities. Currently the ACE repository holds nearly 1,000 accessible books in five different formats and supports users with disabilities at 9 OCUL institutions.

This one-hour webinar will focus on the development of the project, from its early stages to the present, and consider the challenges overcome and the successes celebrated in the process. Staff from a number of the participating OCUL institutions will discuss their experiences with the repository and how it is being used at their institutions.

Please register for this webinar by emailing katya [at] scholarsportal.info with your name and institution.

Space is limited so we encourage you to watch with your colleagues. A recording of the webinar will also be posted on the OCUL webinar archive (login required).
