University library staff and team members from library-adjacent organizations across Canada are invited to sign up for a new Community of Practice on artificial intelligence and machine learning (AIML) in academic libraries.
Established by the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) to facilitate the exchange of ideas on the application of AIML in academic and research libraries, this national Community of Practice is for anyone interested in this topic. Participants with a diverse set of AIML interests are welcome as the Community of Practice is not only a technical forum.
The Community of Practice connects via discussions on Mattermost channels. Channels are set up for a variety of AIML interests including use cases, user implications, technical issues, ethical considerations, and policy concerns.
